In order to meet the needs of saving powder and improving spraying results, Sames designed and developed the Inobell electrostatic powder spraying cup, which achieves high performance, excellent spraying quality and easy integration. It can spray powder coatings on all types of surfaces, and has better spraying performance on flat surfaces.
The Inobell electrostatic powder spray cup originated from the spraying technology used for liquid coatings in the automotive industry. It differs from traditional powder spraying equipment in terms of excellent spraying quality and finish. Compared with traditional round or flat nozzles, the centrifugal force generated by the rotation makes the powder spray more uniform and less directional. As a result, the mechanical effect is limited and the powder particles are more susceptible to electrostatic forces, which improves the transfer efficiency.
The rotating electrode ensures excellent electrostatic charge at powder flow rates of up to 30 kg/h while ensuring high transfer efficiency. Powder centrifugation allows a uniform film thickness, thereby controlling the standard deviation (Eckart type) to save powder deposited on the workpiece.
The Inobell technology uses a rotating electrode related to a counter electrode, allowing maximum powder charge. It performs better when used on larger flat surfaces and can also be installed on flat reciprocating machines.
